Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Guilherme de Medeiros Silva. I am 41 years old and an interior architect. After living in Hannover, I have recently moved back to the Netherlands to continue building my career here. I am currently based in Rotterdam, where I am staying with friends and in short-term accommodation while I look for a long-term home of my own.

I am currently a job seeker and actively looking for a position as an interior architect. I understand that being between jobs is an important consideration for a rental application, so I would like to offer several forms of financial security, all of which I can document.

First, I have substantial savings, which provide a solid financial buffer. I am happy to pay the full deposit allowed under Dutch law (a maximum of two months' base rent) and can show proof of funds through recent bank statements. If it suits you, I am also willing to pay additional rent in advance, up to one full year, on a voluntary basis and within what is legally permitted.

Second, I have a guarantor, a registered nurse with a stable income. He has confirmed in writing (letter of intent available on request) that he is willing to act as my guarantor (borg). Once a tenancy agreement has been agreed, he will sign a formal guarantee under Dutch law, with an amount and term that fit that specific agreement. He can provide his identity document, employment confirmation and income documents.

On a more personal note, I am passionate about architecture and well-designed furniture, and I love art in all its forms. Visiting museums and exhibitions is a favourite pastime of mine, which nicely combines business with pleasure. I also enjoy sports and the theatre. I am a calm and considerate person: for me, home is a place to relax, not to host late-night parties, so neighbours can count on a quiet and respectful presence.

As for reliability, I can provide a reference letter from my previous landlord in the Netherlands, confirming that I always paid my rent on time and that there were no issues during my tenancy. I am also happy to provide proof of savings, my guarantor's documents, my identification and anything else you may require, and I am ready to sign the tenancy agreement promptly.

As an interior architect, I have a natural appreciation for well-kept spaces and would take very good care of the property.
